Parent Coordination is an alternative dispute resolution that combines methods of mediation and psychotherapy to assist parents in resolving disagreements and increase their co-parenting skills. Parent Coordination can be voluntary or court-ordered. Parent Coordination is often an on-going services that supports parents in joint-decision making throughout the journey of child-rearing. Therapists and Parent Coordinators can often work together with parents as a team to ease the burden on children that often results from post-divorce conflict.
