Jeaneille Lewis, MSW, lives by the quote “Be the change you wish to see in the world.”
This quote has led her on her journey throughout life with a passion for breaking down the multitude of stigmas that may surround any given family in life. Her passion, to put it simply, is to bridge the gap between families and their healing.
Though she was raised in a Caribbean home, Jeaneille hails from Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Here she received her Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Florida A&M University. She later obtained her Master's degree in Social Work from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida.
Over the past eight years, Jeaneille has gained extensive experience working with diverse populations in various counseling settings, developing expertise in several therapeutic modalities. She’s provided individual and group therapy, conducted assessments, and implemented treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs and goals to contribute to his or her overall well-being. Ms. Lewis has a reputation for being able to work with everyone and establishing a sense of community between the patients, family members, and staff members. Jeaneille has succeeded in developing a trusting and supportive therapeutic relationship with her clients by using a client-centered approach considering her patients’ personal motivations and cultural values. She has experience working with clients dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues and more; this experience has helped to tailor her approach to fit a person’s unique needs.
She is very passionate, driven, and hard-working. In her free time, she enjoys painting and traveling. Ms. Lewis has a strong background in counseling and a passion for diversity and supporting individuals on their journey.
